POST 6 - How Can Your Major Make the World a Better Place

Hello there, I didn't quite understand what to write about, so I'm going to write a bit about my relationship with other people.

I have always felt like a “paria” of society, but not so much because I have a stigmatizing feature, but because I have simply never felt part of any group, I have always felt very lonely (with this I don't want to give pity, it's just like that). From this loneliness I have always liked to observe how other people relate to each other. I have always wondered if one owes something to society, as a mission at birth to give oneself to others to try to improve their lives, but always when you try to rationalize this imperative to help others ends up being something, in my opinion, nothing "solidary". I must help because God commands me to, because if I help others I am helping myself, because it is my moral obligation, because it makes me happy. How good a person is someone who helps others because it is his obligation or who does it using others as a means to his happiness? For the time being the only thing that seems sensible to me is to love another person simply because life makes sense that way and it is something I simply want to hold on to.

  1. Thank you for sharing your experience and way of seeing life. It is nice what you tell, because it is real, and sometimes we tend to idealize life a bit, leaving aside these experiences. I agree with you a lot, I think that a lot of what we do, we do for ourselves, which is quite selfish, and few people see life like you. I don't know you but I'm glad I read your blog :)

  2. I liked your thought and I agree with some of the things you say. I think sometimes we see life in a difficult way and we don't take the time to think the way you did. It was a pleasure to read you.
